Waitress Movie Review: The Whole Truth about This Film!

So many negative movie reviews on Waitress were written. So many odd reviews appeared on the Internet saying that the film is not so good but still it is OK because of its being sweet and because of the tragic death of the film director Adrienne Shelly.

These two concepts of Waitress movie reviews are totally different and totally wrong. It is time to define the well-deserved place of Waitress in the history of the cinematography.

1. Story. All Waitress movie reviews say that this is not even a story but a fable. But the vast majority of films, especially Hollywood ones, are fairy tales. And this is an optimistic and interesting story about a woman with curious ordinary life.
2. Humor. The only thing which all Waitress movie reviews mention is that it is a humorous story with funny situations and dialogues. These facts cannot be denied since the film is really funny and pleasant to watch. 
3. Performance. It is curious but none of the movie reviews on Waitress point out actors’ performance in this film which is really great. Everyone think that good performance is a must and there is nothing to discuss. Unfortunately, there are so many films lacking not even sincerity but plausibility. Actually, each Waitress movie review should mention that this film is a very good example of great and sincere performance.

Why do almost all Waitress movie reviews fail to mention these three factors which compose a good film? There is only one explanation: those who wrote movie reviews on Waitress forgot about two major types of films, didactic and entertaining.

And Waitress is a brilliant entertaining film which makes you rest from casualty of everyday life and have a good time. This is what should be said in a Waitress movie review.
